Des Plaines City Council moves a step closer to Police Station Project

On Monday, the outgoing city council decided unanimously to move forward and execute a contract for the purchase of the historic Des Plaines Masonic Temple building (better known to some as the Stage One theatre, Bog theatre, or Guild theatre). This is almost certainly for the police station project that has been discussed some time that would also force out the historic and beloved Choo Choo.
